What is HouseMoov?

HouseMoov is an online estate agent which offers sellers low rates without compromising on customer service.

If I pay a fixed fee, will you put any effort into selling my property?

Our skilled staff work extremely hard to sell homes quickly and for the right price. Although, we offer packages in which our fee is not dependent on the sale of a property, it is in our best interests to sell the homes we list as soon as we can. We have built our reputation on securing successful sales for our customers. It also makes financial sense as we pay Rightmove and Zoopla for every property which is listed on their sites so unsold homes cost us money.

Do I have to sign a sole agency agreement?

No. At HouseMoov, we’re confident we have what it takes to sell your home. We’re happy for you to list your property with other agents if you wish and we don’t charge any penalty fees if you take your home off the market.

How can you offer lower fees than other estate agents?

As HouseMoov is an online estate agent, we don’t have the large costs and overheads involved in running a chain of high street branches. Our low overheads allow us to pass the savings on to our customers and charge extremely competitive rates for an exceptional service.

When will my property be listed online?

Your property will typically be listed online within 5-7 days of signing up to HouseMoov, although time scales can vary. Once you’ve signed up to HouseMoov, we will arrange a convenient time to visit your property as soon as we can. During this visit, we will take photographs and measurements of your home so we can create accurate details which will attract potential buyers. These details will then have to be approved by you before your property can be listed.

Where will my property be advertised?

Your property will be listed on the three main online portals – Rightmove, Zoopla and Prime Location. It will also be advertised on our site and many other smaller sites, including those of local newspapers.

How do you value my property?

We can value your property without coming out to visit it by collecting key information from you using our online form. We also look at information regarding similar property sales in your area.

Who will I deal with when I am selling my home?

We have a talented team who know everything there is to know about selling property. One of our specialist assessors will visit your home to take photographs and measurements to create your listing. Although we are an online business, you will still be able to speak to someone whenever you need to. Our staff are available seven days a week to answer your questions and assist you.

Will you do the viewings for me?

Our staff will arrange the viewing appointments with you and the potential buyer but we will not attend the viewing appointments. We believe as a seller you are the best person to show your property to potential buyers as no one knows your home as well as you do.

Do you oversee the sale of my house once I accept an offer?

HouseMoov will continue to offer you an exceptional service right up until the day of completion. We will do everything we can to resolve any problems which arise while you are selling your home and we will make sure everything is running smoothly and a memorandum of sale is sent.

Is there a service difference between your packages?

No, all our packages offer the same great service. The difference in fees reflects when you pay us  – you can choose to pay upfront, on completion or you can opt for our no sale, no fee package.

Can I use my own photographs?

We are happy for you to use your own photographs of your property so long as they accurately represent it. Even if you choose to use your own photographs, we will still visit your home to take measurements and we will take our own pictures as well. We must do this to make sure we comply with Consumer Protection Regulations.
